Autozilla was born from a simple conviction: the smartest way to import an American classic to Europe doesn't go through Rotterdam, it goes to the source. We operate directly between the US and Europe, with an American dealer license, access to thousands of cars in every state, stock in Portugal already cleared through customs, and vehicles in the US ready for import.
Who we are
Our story
Europe has never had a shortage of classic American cars, but it has always had the same problem: the cars arrived via Dutch, German or Belgian intermediaries. Rotterdam became the obligatory transit point, with multiple profit margins accruing at each stage: American dealer → Dutch wholesaler → European retailer → end customer.
We found a different way to do things. Through a genuine American dealer license, operated firsthand in the American market, we were able to buy directly at private auctions, from classic car dealers and private owners. No middlemen. No markups.
We bring the vehicles to Portugal in containers, clear them through customs in Portugal (DAV), and deliver them. The Portuguese registration is the responsibility of the buyer; the registration service is quoted separately. The client receives a classic American car already cleared through customs in the European Union, with complete documentation.

Specializes in the selection and acquisition of vehicles directly in the USA, with a particular focus on classic muscle cars (1960-1973), European classics exported to the USA (Mercedes, Porsche, BMW) and collector opportunities.

Why Autozilla?
1. Direct sourcing, without intermediaries
The American dealer license of SALVAGE MOTORS LLC (Arkansas State Police, No. M-13632) allows us to buy vehicles at private auctions (Bring a Trailer, Mecum, Barrett-Jackson, car collection auctions) and directly from specialist dealers. Without the Dutch wholesaler in the middle.
2. On-site inspection upon request
We always check the VIN, ownership history, and title. Upon request, an on-site mechanical inspection in the USA, performed by an industry professional before payment (paid service), confirms the mechanical and structural condition. No surprises upon arrival.
3. Physical stock in Portugal
Part of the stock is in Ouca, already cleared through customs: the customer can visit, personally inspect the vehicle and close the deal on the same day (the Portuguese registration is handled separately). The remaining vehicles are in the USA, ready for import.
4. Classic specialization +30 years
We focus on vehicles over 30 years old that may benefit from IUC (Vehicle Tax) exemption, with a historic vehicle certificate. ISV (Vehicle Tax) is calculated based on engine displacement; these are indicative values and must be confirmed with the Tax Authority. When importing a newer vehicle, we perform the tax calculations transparently.
5. B2B for European resellers
We serve professionals (dealers, restorers, secondary importers) in Portugal and throughout the EU. With an intra-community VAT number validated via VIES, we offer dedicated resale prices and priority access to pre-import stock. See our [link/page/etc.]. page for resellers.
6. Communication in 7 languages
We speak Portuguese, English and French as our native languages. Our website responds in 7 languages (PT, EN, FR, ES, IT, DE, NL) with quality translation. Each European customer is attended to in their own language, without any communication noise.

- USA: Official dealer license, with access to thousands of cars in every state. Direct access to private auctions and specialized dealers.

- Collectors and enthusiasts (B2C): Private individuals who want to buy a classic American car without the risks and complexities of importing it. They view the vehicle in Ouca or choose it in the USA, make their decision, and receive it after customs clearance; the Portuguese registration is handled separately.
- Resellers and professionals (B2B): European dealerships specializing in classic cars, restorers, and secondary importers. Access to resale prices and our pre-import pipeline.
