How it works: We purchase this vehicle on your behalf at an auction in the USA. You pay the actual cost of the vehicle (adjudication + auction fees + expenses in the USA, without margin) and our fixed package (purchase service + transport to the port). If we buy below your maximum amount, the savings are split in half. You never pay more than the maximum amount. Sarazina is not the seller of the vehicle.

1. Your data

2. Destination and maximum amount

Current estimate for this vehicle and destination: from €12,200 • Immediate purchase 12,200 €

Fixed-price pass (purchase service + transport to the port)7 652 €
Maximum bid corresponding4,200 USD
Vehicle pricereal cost, without margin

Example: maximum amount €20,000, package €7,000. If the vehicle costs €11,000 instead of €13,000, the savings are €2,000: you pay €11,000 + €7,000 + €1,000 = €19,000. We do not bid above the indicated maximum bid.

3. Vehicle condition — confirm each point.

This vehicle is being sold at auction by its seller, in its current condition. Please confirm that you understand and accept each of these characteristics before ordering:

4. Terms of office

Read the terms of the purchase mandate.
  1. Subject. The Client mandates SARAZINA WORLD CARROS E MOTOS, UNIPESSOAL LDA (Autozilla brand), NIPC 518591190, Rua da Igreja, 20, 3840-302 Ouca, Vagos, Portugal ("Sarazina"), which accepts to purchase, on behalf of the Client, at an online auction in the USA, the vehicle identified in the mandate, within the limit of the maximum guaranteed amount chosen by the Client. Sarazina also provides a logistics service to the chosen European port: collection, export formalities (EEI/AES), maritime transport and bill of lading in the Client's name.
  2. Sarazina is not the seller of the vehicle. The seller is the entity that placed the vehicle in the auction (often an insurance company), which sells it in the condition described in the auction notice. To bid, Sarazina uses its licensed partner in the USA, who bids on its own behalf, exclusively on behalf of the Client and without any margin, and transfers the title to the Client.
  3. Price. The Client pays: (a) the actual cost of the vehicle — adjudication price, auction fees, and US expenses and fees — paid on behalf of the Client and invoiced without margin, at the effective exchange rate of payment; proof of auction is provided upon request; (b) Sarazina's fixed forfait indicated in the mandate, which covers the purchase service and logistics to the port; (c) when the actual total falls below the maximum amount, half of the savings (maximum amount − actual cost − forfait). The total never exceeds the guaranteed maximum amount, understood as the price delivered at the chosen port, before VAT and import duties, taxes, and registration. Sarazina does not bid above the maximum bid in dollars indicated in the mandate.
  4. Example: maximum amount €20,000, package €7,000. If the actual cost of the vehicle is €11,000 (instead of the maximum €13,000), the savings are €2,000 and the customer pays €11,000 + €7,000 + €1,000 = €19,000. If the actual cost is €13,000, the customer pays €20,000.
  5. Payment exclusively by bank transfer from an account in the Client's name: a deposit of 20 % of the maximum amount upon confirmation, before any bidding; on the day of the award, 90 % of the actual total minus the deposit (the auctioneer requires full payment within 3 working days); the remaining 10 % before shipment. Without receipt of the deposit, Sarazina will not bid. If the vehicle is not awarded within the limit, the deposit is returned in full within 5 working days, or held for a new attempt upon written request from the Client.
  6. Timelines. Shipping period: 2 to 6 weeks after receipt of the original title; indicative time between award and arrival at the port: 5 to 9 weeks. Sometimes the auctioneer only delivers the title days or weeks after payment; without a title, the vehicle cannot be exported. Storage fees charged after the free period are the Client's responsibility, re-invoiced at the actual cost with proof, outside the maximum amount; Sarazina monitors the title request at no additional cost.
  7. Documents and import: original title transferred to the Client; Bill of Lading in the Client's name; Sarazina invoice with the cost of the vehicle and the forfait on separate lines; proof of export declaration; proof of auction upon request. Customs clearance is done in the Client's country of residence, in their name; VAT and import duties are paid by the Client.
  8. Vehicle Condition. The vehicle is used and sold by its seller in the condition described in the auction sheet (photographs, report, title type), which Sarazina does not verify in person. Before ordering, the Client accepts point by point, in separate boxes, the characteristics and uncertainties listed in the form, which form part of the mandate. Not being the seller, Sarazina does not provide the legal guarantee of conformity of the seller; it is responsible for the proper execution of the mandate and logistics: respect for the limit and instructions, accuracy of the information it provides, diligence in transport. For the consumer, this article applies without prejudice to the rights conferred by the mandatory law of their country of residence. The Client may request an on-site inspection by a third party before the auction (actual cost + €50 management fee).
  9. Risks and insurance. The vehicle is purchased on behalf of the Client: the risk passes to the Client upon awarding the contract. Maritime transport insurance is optional (quote sent with confirmation); without insurance, transport damages are the Client's responsibility. Sarazina transfers to the Client any right to compensation against the carrier.
  10. Right of withdrawal (consumers). The consumer may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days of the signing of the mandate (confirmation by email from Sarazina), through the "Withdraw from the contract here" function at https://autozilla.pt/en/retratacao/, the standard form or any unequivocal statement sent by email; Sarazina acknowledges receipt on a durable medium. If the consumer requested immediate commencement and withdraws before the award, they pay an amount proportional to the service already provided, calculated on the fixed price, and the cost of any inspection they requested; the deposit is returned, less this amount, within 14 days. The right of withdrawal expires upon the awarding of the vehicle to the consumer, with the mandate being fully executed, provided that the consumer requested immediate commencement and acknowledged this loss. Transportation provided within a specified period does not confer a right of withdrawal. If the contract were to be classified as a sale, the return location would be Sarazina's premises in Vagos, Portugal.
  11. Warranty in case of requalification. If the contract is reclassified as a sale, the warranty period for the conformity of the used vehicle is reduced to 18 months, by express and separate agreement of the consumer on the form.
  12. Non-payment. If the awarded tranche is not paid within 48 hours of a demand, Sarazina may cancel the purchase and retain from the deposit only: the costs actually invoiced and proven by the auctioneer or partner (reselling penalty, 10 % with a minimum of USD 600 or 15 % with a minimum of USD 1,000 depending on the auctioneer; storage; bank charges) and the portion of the forfait already acquired; the balance is returned within 14 days. Conversely, if Sarazina fails to fulfill its mandate (bidding above the limit, bid not made due to its fault), it returns the deposit and pays the Client compensation equal to the portion of the forfait mentioned above.
  13. Professionals. Clients purchasing as professionals have no right of withdrawal, purchase the vehicle in its current condition, and waive any claim against Sarazina based on the vehicle's condition, except in cases of fraud. The Vienna Convention on the International Sale of Goods (VIC) is excluded. Jurisdiction is limited to the courts of the Aveiro district, to the exclusion of any other.
  14. Applicable law and disputes. Portuguese law; the consumer retains the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country of their habitual residence and may resort to the courts of their domicile or those of the district of Aveiro. Complaints: Electronic Complaints Book (www.livroreclamacoes.pt). Alternative dispute resolution: CNIACC – National Consumer Information and Arbitration Centre, Rua D. Afonso Henriques, n.º 1, 4700-030 Braga, www.cniacc.pt. Consumer disputes of a value not exceeding €5,000 are subject to mandatory arbitration when, by express choice of the consumer, they are submitted to a consumer dispute arbitration centre (Article 14 of Law No. 24/96, of July 31).
  15. Celebration and data. The mandate is celebrated upon confirmation from Sarazina via email; the bidding only takes place after receipt of the deposit. The Client's data is processed by Sarazina for the execution of the mandate and transmitted only to the partner in the USA, freight forwarders, shipping companies and customs brokers.

After submitting, you will receive an email with the mandate, reference number, and instructions for the deposit. The mandate is considered complete upon our email confirmation; we only bid after receiving the deposit.
